DWI & Assessment Services — Raleigh, NC
A DWI charge does not define you. What you do next does.
Whether you are here because a court ordered it, your attorney recommended it, or you made a decision you regret — you are in the right place. At Pivot Power Counseling, we handle DWI assessments and related services with professionalism, discretion, and genuine care for where you go from here.
What We Offer
DWI Assessment A comprehensive evaluation required by the state of North Carolina following a DWI charge. The assessment includes a clinical interview conducted via telehealth, review of your driving record and BAC citation, and a written report with treatment recommendations delivered within 48 hours of your interview.
Substance Use Assessment A thorough evaluation of substance use patterns, history, and impact using validated standardized instruments. This assessment identifies level of care needs and produces a clinically sound written report with treatment recommendations.
Emotional Regulation Evaluation An evaluation that examines the emotional and trauma related factors that may have contributed to the presenting legal charge. This assessment uses standardized instruments including the PCL-5 and DERS-18 and produces a written report connecting emotional dysregulation and trauma history to the presenting issue.
DWI Treatment Treatment services for clients who have completed a DWI assessment and received a treatment recommendation. Ashley provides individual therapy specifically focused on the patterns, beliefs, and contributing factors identified in the assessment.
Substance Use Treatment Individual therapy for clients working toward sobriety or harm reduction following a substance use assessment. Treatment draws from evidence based modalities including CBT, DBT, IFS, and motivational interviewing.
Anger Management Treatment Structured treatment addressing emotional regulation, impulse control, and the underlying drivers of anger related behaviors. Please note that Ashley does not hold specific anger management certification — this treatment focuses on the emotional regulation and trauma related factors that contribute to anger and is not a court certified anger management program.
