Family Therapy — Raleigh, NC
Every Family Has a Story. Let's Work on the Next Chapter.
Families are complicated. The people we love the most are often the ones we struggle with the most. Old patterns, unspoken expectations, unresolved conflict, and generational wounds show up at the dinner table, in the middle of arguments, and in the silences that stretch too long.
Family therapy at Pivot Power creates a structured, safe space for families to understand each other better — and to start building something different.
Who Family Therapy Is For
Families navigating conflict or communication breakdown Parents and children struggling to connect Families dealing with a member's mental health or substance use Blended families working through adjustment challenges Families processing grief, loss, or major life transitions Parents wanting to break generational trauma cycles before they pass them on
What to Expect
Ashley brings the same direct, strengths based approach to family therapy that she brings to individual work. Sessions are structured and purposeful — not a free for all where everyone talks over each other. Ashley facilitates the conversation, keeps it productive, and helps each family member feel heard while moving toward real understanding and change.
Family therapy is not about deciding who is right. It is about helping every person in the room understand what is actually happening — beneath the conflict, beneath the frustration, beneath the patterns that keep repeating.
A Note on Couples Counseling
Ashley does not currently offer couples counseling. If you are looking for couples therapy she is happy to provide a referral to a trusted colleague.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Ashley works with families via telehealth across North Carolina and in person in Raleigh.
